My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Genius idea from Adam Kay to gather a group of celebrities, including writers, actors, TV stars, singers, comedians, each with their own tale of their own experience of the NHS, fictional story, poem or song to show how important the NHS is to them.
Often sad, funny, heartwarming and humbling this excellent collection of varying styles is an excellent tribute to the work of the NHS during this pandemic.
My personal highlights - the story by irvine Welsh; Lee Mack and Stewart Lee's entries (am I allowed to like both of those?). Peter Kay's Car Share script was super. David Tennant, Mark Watson, Stephen Fry... there is just such a vast inclusion of varying talent to get through, each one different but each one relevant to the cause Adam Kay is so obviously passionate about.
With all profits going to support NHS charities together and The Lullaby Trust, why not support the NHS yourself in this hugely enjoyable and innovative way and get a copy of Dear NHS.
