My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A story of kidnapping, talking foxes and hunting humans for sport, Aaronovitch and Cartmel are on superb form for this graphic novel which I felt had a meatier story than some of the previous entries, but without losing any of it's charm. The returning artists Lee Sullivan and Luis Guerrero bring their mastery to the new and returning characters, especially the sly and hipster looking Reynard and the talking foxes who look surprisingly real.
Again, we're treated to some more mini comic stories at the end of the book, which are nice witty additions, as well as 2 entries on the history of the fox in literature. These historical entries which have been in Cry Fox and Detective Stories are a welcome addition to the collection and are fascinating insights into the influences to the stories.
Definitely another one for the collection then, folks. Enjoyed this thoroughly!
